First edition of art products from Shelton Farm, in the Puget Sound of Washington.

A set of four handkerchiefs, printed with found botanical prints of flowers grown on the farm during the 2017 Summer.
Each handkerchief is hand embroidered with the colors of each flower, to underline the latin ‘translation’.

This series is meant to reflect the pleasures of looking more closely, and inspire people to be more present in ‘place’.

The latin name for each plant is ‘translated’ into English,
but the ‘translations’ are words that reflect how the botanical print itself is an example of “looking more closely”.
The four pieces in this series are titled: BEHOLD, GAZE, OBSERVE, WITNESS.
BEHOLD (Lavender)
GAZE (Sunflower)
OBSERVE (Cosmos)
WITNESS (French Marigold)

Each includes a pressed flower from the farm.
Each handkerchief is completely WASHABLE.
Handkerchiefs can also be dyed a red brown color using blackberries from the farm.

Sold as set of 4 or individually via Etsy.
There are 14 left of the First Edition of 50. A 2nd Edition of 25 will be available soon.
